GOOD TO KNOW
Everything you need for this journey
01
Meeting point
Before you travel, our team will confirm precisely where your driver will meet you inside the terminal, so there's no wandering about looking for them. They'll also text you on arrival, so you can step off your flight and set off for York with complete ease.
Flying into Stansted, your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a name sign. We'll time their arrival to whatever pickup slot you request after landing, giving you the time you need to clear immigration and collect your baggage. As one of London's busiest airports for European flights, Stansted's arrivals hall can get lively at peak times, so your driver will hold a clearly visible name sign to make finding each other easy. If you're travelling during peak traffic (weekday mornings or evenings), do allow a little extra time for the journey.
02
About York
York is one of England's most complete medieval cities, its Minster the second-largest Gothic cathedral in northern Europe and its walls, at over two miles long, the longest town walls in England. It's a popular destination for both leisure and business travellers.
03
Along the way
Any stop along the route is entirely optional, but if there's anywhere you'd like to see, let us know and we're happy to arrange a detour or waiting time, at an extra cost.
04
Local Knowledge
York's city-centre footstreets are pedestrianised between 10.30am and 5.00pm, so we plan your pickup or drop-off just outside the zone.

+
We recommend booking as soon as your flight is confirmed. With a journey as far as York, an early booking gives you peace of mind and a comfortable ride north, so you arrive rested and ready.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
+
We track your flight and adjust your pickup time automatically, no need to call us.
Can I book a return journey?
+
Yes. After you book, your confirmation page has a Book Return button. It fills in the same journey the other way round with your details, so you only choose the vehicle, date and time.

Yes, free of charge. Tell us when you book (in Special requests) how many seats you need and the children's ages, so the right seats are fitted before pickup.
