GOOD TO KNOW
Everything you need for this journey
01
Meeting point
Before you travel, our team will confirm precisely where your driver will meet you inside the terminal, so there's no wandering about looking for them. They'll also text you on arrival, so you can step off your flight and set off for Colchester with complete ease.
Flying into Stansted, your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a name sign. We'll time their arrival to whatever pickup slot you request after landing, giving you the time you need to clear immigration and collect your baggage. As one of London's busiest airports for European flights, Stansted's arrivals hall can get lively at peak times, so your driver will hold a clearly visible name sign to make finding each other easy. If you're travelling during peak traffic (weekday mornings or evenings), do allow a little extra time for the journey.

About Colchester
Colchester is Britain's oldest recorded town, referenced by the Roman writer Pliny the Elder around AD 77, and served as the first capital of Roman Britain under the name Colonia Victricensis. It was awarded official city status in 2022 as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, and today its Roman walls and Norman castle sit alongside a modern university and business community.
03
Along the way
Along the way, we can make an optional stop at Layer Marney Tower near Tiptree (adult tickets £12, open on selected days only, so best checked before booking). It's entirely up to you: just let us know if you'd like to arrange a stop, at an extra cost.

What our passengers say
Your questions, answered
How far in advance should I book a transfer to Colchester?
+
We'd suggest booking as soon as your flight is confirmed. With your Colchester transfer arranged early, there's nothing to chase or worry about, just a comfortable journey and an easy arrival.
How much extra time should I allow if I want to stop at Layer Marney Tower?
+
Stops are entirely optional. If you'd like to add one, allow around 1 hour to enjoy it, and just let us know when booking so we can plan your timings.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
+
We track your flight and adjust your pickup time automatically, no need to call us.
Can I book a return journey?
+
Yes. After you book, your confirmation page has a Book Return button. It fills in the same journey the other way round with your details, so you only choose the vehicle, date and time.
Do you provide child seats?
+
Yes, free of charge. Tell us when you book (in Special requests) how many seats you need and the children's ages, so the right seats are fitted before pickup.
What is your cancellation policy?
+
Cancel 24 hours or more before pickup for a full refund. Cancel between 12 and 24 hours before pickup and we refund 50%.
