About Ipswich
Ipswich is one of England's oldest towns, a working port on the River Orwell since Saxon times and once a major trading hub for medieval England. Its historic Wet Dock, one of the largest enclosed docks in Britain, has been regenerated into a lively waterfront of restaurants, bars, and the University of Suffolk's campus, alongside surviving landmarks like Wolsey's Gate.
02
Along the way
Along the way, we can make an optional stop at Colchester Castle in Britain's oldest recorded town (adult tickets £13.95, best booked in advance). It's entirely up to you: just let us know if you'd like to arrange a stop, at an extra cost.
03
Local Knowledge
Ipswich's Wet Dock, one of the largest enclosed docks in Britain, is now the heart of a regenerated waterfront, so if your hotel or destination is around the docks, let us know and we'll plan the best drop-off point.

What our passengers say
Your questions, answered
How far in advance should I book a transfer to Ipswich?
+
The earlier you book, the more relaxed your journey to Ipswich will be. Confirm your transfer as soon as you know you'll be travelling, and we'll take care of everything else so you can arrive feeling at ease.
How much extra time should I allow if I want to stop at Colchester Castle?
+
Stops are entirely optional. If you'd like to add one, allow around 1 to 2 hours to enjoy it, and just let us know when booking so we can plan your timings.
Can I book a return journey?
+
Yes. After you book, your confirmation page has a Book Return button. It fills in the same journey the other way round with your details, so you only choose the vehicle, date and time.
Do you provide child seats?
+
Yes, free of charge. Tell us when you book (in Special requests) how many seats you need and the children's ages, so the right seats are fitted before pickup.
What is your cancellation policy?
+
Cancel 24 hours or more before pickup for a full refund. Cancel between 12 and 24 hours before pickup and we refund 50%.
